  • All artworks are original, hand-painted by the artist using acrylic on canvas. While some pieces may share a similar aesthetic, each one is entirely unique and cannot be replicated - an inherent quality of abstract expression.

    Select works may also be offered as limited-edition prints, strictly at the artist’s discretion. These are carefully curated and produced in very small quantities to preserve the exclusivity and value of the original pieces.

  • Each piece by The Canvas Guy is meticulously hand-painted using high-quality acrylic on canvas. The work is defined by thoughtful layering, textured elements, and a refined palette of neutral tones.

    A signature aspect of the artist’s style is the intentional preservation of raw, unfiltered moments within the creative process.     While certain works may share a similar style or composition, no two will ever be the same. Each painting is created in an unrepeatable emotional state, meaning the energy, mood, and sentiment behind every brushstroke are unique to that moment in time.

    Collectors may request works inspired by a previous piece or in a different colour tone, but due to the intuitive and emotional nature of the artist’s process, exact replications are neither possible nor intended. This approach ensures that each artwork remains deeply personal, emotionally resonant, and entirely exclusive - a true 1-of-1.

Ordering & Payment

  • We currently ship to New Zealand and Australia, but If you’re outside these areas please get in touch and we can look into international courier rates for your consideration.

  • Shipping timeframes vary depending on your location and if you’re having your artwork framed by us.

  • Yes, once your order ships you’ll receive tracking details via email.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, depending on your delivery location.

Shipping & Delivery

  • We offer a 14-day return period from the date of purchase should you change your mind. Returns are accepted at the purchaser’s expense and must be received in their original condition.

    Once the artwork is returned and inspected, a full refund will be issued. Please note refunds will not be granted for items that show signs of damage or wear.

  • Unfortunately, custom and commissioned pieces cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged.

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue, and we’ll make it right.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • We do our best to ensure images are accurate. However, due to screen variations and the handmade nature of our work, slight differences in colour and texture may occur.

    Please note that images of artworks shown in styled settings are for visual reference only and may not accurately reflect the exact proportions or scale of the painting, so please double check the listed measurements.

Image Use & Copyright

  • The artist is open to select commission requests; however, each piece requires a high level of emotional investment and creative alignment. As such, commissions are only taken on when the artist feels a genuine connection to the request and believes it can be fulfilled with integrity and intention.

    Due to the deeply personal nature of the work and the limited number of commissions accepted, availability is rare and pricing reflects the bespoke nature of the process. If you're interested in a custom piece, the best way to begin is by getting in touch to discuss your vision or story.

  • This depends on the complexity of the work and our current waitlist. Please make a note in your enquiry if your timeline is on the urgent side and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • Pricing varies based on size and scope. We’ll provide a detailed quote once we’ve discussed your brief.

Commissions & Custom Work

  • Keep artwork out of direct sunlight and moisture. Handle with care, and hang using appropriate wall fixings.

  • Wash inside out in cold water with like colours. Avoid bleach and tumble drying to extend the life of your tee or cap.

  • Yes, personal viewings are available within the Auckland region. In select cases, we can bring the artwork directly to you for a private preview.

    Alternatively, appointments to view specific pieces may be arranged on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability.

    For collectors outside of Auckland, our 14-day return policy offers peace of mind. This allows you to experience the artwork in your own space and, if it doesn’t feel like the right fit, return it with no questions asked. Terms and conditions apply.
